GRIEF SUPPORT

Whether you’ve lost a loved one, or a beloved family pet, Tranquility Cremations is here to help support your grief journey.

Coping With the Loss

Coping

Focus on the good times you had together and let yourself work through it. Avoidance doesn’t help. There is no timetable for this.

Talking to someone

Family, friends, or others with similar loss can be supportive. If you need more,  seek out support groups or grief counselors.

Time to Heal

You might experience the feelings of guilt, denial, anger and depression before you come to acceptance and healing. There is no time limit to this process. This may mean learning to live with the loss, instead of coming to closure.

Talking to children

Be gentle with a child as they deal with their sorrow. For more help you can find some great advice on www.pbskids.org

Others Around You

Everyone processes grief differently, but, each person with a strong attachment to the loved one lost, can provide understanding and help process the absence. Most people in your everyday life, outside of family, don't know how to help. They don’t understand how to help. Don’t be afraid to let them know.
